Aging better isn’t about fighting time. It’s about working with your body.
If you’ve spent any time scrolling social media, you’ve probably seen the endless parade of “anti-aging” tips that promise overnight transformations. Quick fixes. Magic serums. The fountain of youth in a $20 bottle.
Here’s what I know after years in medicine and building a practice devoted to regenerative aesthetics: there are no shortcuts. But there is a smarter way.
The people who walk into my office aren’t looking for a different face. They’re looking for their face—just healthier, stronger, more resilient. They want to understand the why behind their treatments, not just chase trends. And honestly? That’s exactly who I love working with.
So let’s talk about what actually works. Not what’s trendy. Not what promises miracles. What the science actually supports.
This is your framework for 2026.
Step 1: Build Your Foundation (Ultherapy Prime)
First, let’s talk about what’s under your skin.
Your skin sits on a frame made of collagen and elastin. This frame keeps everything lifted and tight. As we get older, this frame gets weaker. That’s why skin starts to sag and shift.
Ultherapy Prime is where we start.
Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound energy to reach the deep foundational layers of your skin—the same layers a surgeon would address in a facelift. It stimulates your body’s own regenerative response, triggering new collagen production from the inside out.
Here’s what makes it special: Ultherapy wakes up your fibroblasts.
Fibroblasts are cells that make collagen and elastin. When we wake them up, they work harder. This means everything else we do after works even better.
Think of it like this: You could plant seeds in hard dirt and hope they grow. Or you could prepare the soil first and give those seeds a real chance.
What to expect: Results show up slowly over 3-6 months. Your body is building new collagen. This isn’t instant—it’s lasting.
Who it’s for: Anyone noticing laxity in the brow, jawline, neck, or chest who wants to address the cause of sagging, not just the symptoms.
Step 2: Add Biostimulation (Radiesse or Sculptra)
Now that your fibroblasts are awake, we give your body what it needs to rebuild.
This is where biostimulators come in.
Radiesse is my preferred choice for most clients. It’s made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres—a substance naturally found in your bones—suspended in a gel carrier. When injected, it provides immediate volume and stimulates your body to produce its own collagen over time.
Sculptra is another good option. It works more slowly and is great when you want gradual change all over.
What to expect: With Radiesse, you see some change right away. Full results come over weeks and months. With Sculptra, plan for 2-3 visits with full results around 6 months.
Who it’s for: Anyone experiencing volume loss, hollow areas, or wanting to restore the structural support that keeps skin looking youthful.
Step 3: Improve Your Skin (Lasers & Microneedling)
Now we work on the skin itself.
Sun damage. Rough texture. Uneven color. Fine lines. Big pores. These are signs your skin’s surface needs help.
Your options:
Microneedling: Creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger your skin’s healing response. Great for texture, fine lines, and overall skin health. The entry point for most clients.
RF Microneedling: Takes microneedling further by adding heat energy to tighten and stimulate collagen at deeper levels. Excellent for texture, mild laxity, and acne scarring.
MOXI Laser: A gentle laser for early sun damage. Very little downtime. Perfect for anyone who can’t hide at home for a week.
PICO Laser: Uses ultra-short pulses of energy to break up pigment and stimulate collagen remodeling. Exceptional for sun spots, melasma, and achieving that clear, even-toned “glass skin” look.
What I tell my clients:
These treatments improve your skin’s quality—the texture, tone, clarity, and overall health of your skin. They complement your foundational work, but they don’t replace it.
Think of it this way: Ultherapy and biostimulators address the architecture of the building. Skin resurfacing is about making sure the exterior walls are smooth, bright, and beautiful.
What to expect: Varies by treatment. Microneedling involves a few days of redness. RF microneedling is surprisingly smooth—minimal redness, maybe some mild swelling. MOXI has minimal downtime. Some lasers require 5-7 days of social downtime. We’ll customize based on your goals and lifestyle.
Who it’s for: Anyone with texture concerns, sun damage, uneven pigmentation, fine lines, or anyone wanting their skin to simply look healthier.
Step 4: Relax Wrinkles (Tox)
Now we can talk about tox—Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or the newer options on the market.
Notice this is step 4, not step 1. Here’s why that matters:
Tox relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles. Crow’s feet, forehead lines, the “11s” between your brows—tox works great on these.
But here’s the kicker.
Tox is instant. It’s beautiful. It smooths everything out. And that can give you a false sense of aging better—when in reality, your skin hasn’t changed. It’s still aging in the background.
Tox won’t fix sun damage. It won’t fix rough texture. It won’t tighten loose skin. It just relaxes muscles.
I see so many people ask for Botox when what they really need is healthier skin. They’ve been getting tox for years, everything looks smooth, but something still feels “off.” That’s because the skin itself hasn’t improved.
And frankly, that’s ok. Because often it’s the nudge you needed—the one that says “there’s hope, I feel good.”
But my gentle reminder? Don’t stop there. Take the extra steps. Follow the framework.
Here’s what most people don’t know: Tox works SO much better when your skin is healthy.
Tox alone will smooth wrinkles. But tox WITH healthy skin? That’s when you see real change—faster and better results.
Even though this falls at step 4, we often pair tox with step 3—for good reason. When you combine skin quality treatments with tox, the results are exponentially better. You’re relaxing the muscles AND improving the skin at the same time.
The goal is always natural movement. You should still look like you—just a well-rested, relaxed version of you.
What to expect: Results show up in 3-14 days and last 3-4 months. Staying consistent keeps lines from getting deeper.
Who it’s for: Anyone with expression lines who wants to prevent new ones—along with (or alongside) working on overall skin health.
Step 5: Keep It Simple at Home
Everything we do in the office can be helped—or hurt—by what you do at home.
I’m not giving you a 12-step routine. Here are just the basics that really matter.
Morning:
- Wash your face – Simple. Nothing fancy.
- Antioxidant (Vitamin C) – Protects your skin and brightens it.
- SPF – This is the most important thing you can do. Every. Single. Day. Even when it’s cloudy. Even in winter.
Evening:
- Wash your face – Get everything off from the day.
- Retinol – The best thing for aging skin. Helps your skin renew itself. Start slow if you’re new to it.
- Moisturizer – Recommended, especially if retinol dries you out.
That’s it. Four products. Two routines.
The truth: No product will do what professional treatments do. But treatments can’t protect you from daily sun damage. You need both.
80% of your results and maintenance comes from your home skincare routine. You don’t need 12 steps—you just need the right things.

What to expect: You won’t see overnight results. You’ll see slow improvement that adds up month after month, year after year.
Who it’s for: Everyone. This is the baseline.
Putting It All Together: Your 2026 Framework
Let me be clear: you don’t need to do all of this at once. You don’t need to do all of this at all. This is a framework—a roadmap for those who want to age intentionally.
If I could give you one piece of advice for 2026, it’s this:
Stop chasing quick fixes. Start building foundations.
Work with your body, not against it. Invest in treatments that stimulate your own regenerative capacity. Protect your investment with simple daily habits.
Aging is a privilege. You get to decide how you experience it.
